All power belongs to Jesus

Matthew 28:18

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

“All power belongs to Jesus” means, His power extends overall the earth, and over all His creation ; for He made the heavens and the earth along with everything that exists within it.

The verse above says, Jesus, Himself declared to His disciples that all power in heaven and on earth has been given unto Him.

After making this statement He gave the “Great Commission” for them to go out and win souls and make disciples for the kingdom of God.

He was with them till the end of the world.

If all power belongs to Jesus and He has assured them He was with them as they fulfill His command, then we need not fear because He will provide all we need. All we have to do is ask for His help when we need it. ( Matthew 7:7-8)

Dear student, worker and ambassador of Christ, as we fulfill our earthly duties and spiritual ministry let’s look up to Jesus to who has all power to help us excel and fulfill all His commands.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 says

Pray without ceasing.

We need to pray constantly, morning, afternoon and evening in order to receive grace and strength to fulfill our mission on earth.

1. Reflect over your activities in the past week. Did you pray often?

2. As you set the agenda for the coming week put in slots for prayer during times that you are less occupied.
