Trust in the Lord
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths

The passage above is talking about trust.
Trust is very important in every relationship including our relationship with God. If you do not trust God, He cannot help you. Why?

Whilst, He is working on an issue you have prayed about because you do not trust Him completely, you may seek help from other places and complicate issues.

James 1:6-8 says
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Take the story of Abraham and Sarah as an example. God promised them a child, as they waited, they felt they were growing old and decided to help God by having a child through Hagar. What do we have today? The descendants of Ishmael and Isaac who are in constant battle. Complicated issue.( Genesis 21:1-21)

As students, workers and ambassadors of Christ let us learn to trust and rely on God in everything we do, for faithful is He who has called you and who will also do it. ( 1 Thessalonians 5:24)
