Wait on the Lord!!
Isaiah 40:31
They that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not grow weary. They shall walk and not faith

In the scriptures, to wait on the Lord means to hope, to anticipate and to trust in the Lord. It involves having faith, patience, humility, meekness to endure to the end.

Waiting on the Lord is also a spiritual exercise that requires, the study of the word, praying and praising, thanking and worshipping God.

The verse above says “those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. Meaning, they will receive supernatural strength to do exploits.

Dear student, worker and ambassador of Christ learn to set aside time every week, to wait on the Lord, preferably during the weekend, when you can renew your strength, re-strategize and prepare for the coming week.

The bible says in Proverbs 29:18 that

My people perish for lack of vision.

You need to plan every weekend how to overcome challenges you encountered in the previous week.

1. As you wait on the Lord in prayer and study of the word, remember to count your blessings as well and give God the praise and honor He deserves.
