Learn to sacrifice
Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren to present your bodies as a living sacrifice…

The Google dictionary defines sacrifice as the act of slaughtering an animal or person or offering one’s possession to a deity.

Note, a sacrifice is dead or killed before it is burnt as an offering to a deity. But in the verse above, the Apostle Paul is talking about offering our bodies as a living sacrifice to God.

Meaning, when you offer your body as a living sacrifice, you may be in pain but you cannot drawback, you may be frustrated because of obstacles in your ministry but you cannot turn back. You may be in need but you cannot take what is not yours lest you defile the name of the Lord.

The bible says in Luke 9:62 that
…anyone who puts his hands to the plough and looks back is not fit for the kingdom of God

Once you surrender your life to God you must remain faithful to the Lord in spite any discomforts you may have.

In Genesis there is a story of Lot’s wife who disobeyed God by turning back to take perhaps a last look at what she had left in Sodom and Gomorrah. She was turned into a pillar of salt. ( Reference is made to this story in Luke 17:32)

Beloved student, worker and ambassador of Christ learn to sacrifice your comfort and possessions to promote the gospel and you will be blessed
