Think on these things
Philippians 4:8
Finally brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely , whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, if there any praise think on these things.

The mind is the greatest battle field of the christian. If anyone is asked to have his/ her thought pattern projected for everyone to see, we would be surprised that even the “elect” think of things that are unacceptable according to christian principles.

Why is the mind a battle field? Because our adversary the devil uses deception to win over his prey. An example can be seen in Genesis 3:1-17. The conversation the serpent had with Eve. Take note of how He poses his questions. He tries to present God as a deceiver ( though he is the deceiver) and eventually convinced Eve to eat the fruit she had been forbidden to eat and gets her husband to disobey God as well.

Every minute and every second different thoughts are projected into our minds. Some good , others bad and evil.

The verse above is encouraging us to take control of our thought pattern. Think of the things mentioned above. Anything that does not fall in line with the list, you should reject and not think about or concentrate on it.

The bible says, As a man thinketh in his heart, so he is.
Dear student, worker and ambassador of Christ , watch your thought pattern. Think positively. Do not allow your circumstances to dictate to you. No matter what happens see yourself as a winner, the best student, the best worker and a faithful and effective ambassador for Christ. God is able to make you much more than you can ask or think of (Ephesians 3:20)
God be with you.

1. Determine in your heart that you will pray and do all you can to excel, to glorify God.
