Joshua 1:8
This book of law shall not depart out of thy mouth but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may be careful to do all it says. For then you shall make your way prosperous and you shall have good success ( paraphrase)

“Read the word” means study the word of God thoroughly. Read it day and night and apply it to your life as the verse above says.

The word of God is our manual as christians. It gives directions on how to live to please God.

Dear student , worker and ambassador of Christ it is good to begin and end each day by reading scriptures

In the morning, read scripture to guide you throughout the day. You could use a devotional

Then in the evening, you read scripture to help you thank God for taking you safely through the day.

2 Timothy 2:15

Study to show thyself approved unto God. A workman that need not be ashamed. Rightly dividing the word of truth

Let the word be your guide in everything you do
