My peace I give unto you!!!
John 24:27
“Peace I leave with you: my peace I give unto you. Not as the world gives do I give unto you….
” My peace I give unto you” means Jesus offers His disciples deep internal peace that cannot be compared with the circumstantial peace the world provides. That is the message in the verse above.
This kind of peace remains with us always. In good times and in bad times.
As a student, worker and ambassador of Christ there are times we need to take difficult decisions that is where the peace of God comes in
– You have passed your final examinations but your grades are not good enough to allow you to pursue your dream career. You need the peace of God to help you decide to write the examination again or accept the career your grades offer
– You finish your manufacturing orders late because of technical issues. Some of your customers are leaving but you do not have enough funds to buy new machines. You need the peace of God as you decide to take the decision to switch to another job, or take few orders you can finish on time
– You have been making attempts to preach the gospel but you have not made converts in a long time. You need the peace of God to determine whether to stop witnessing or change your style and approach
Psalm 46:10 says
Be still and know that I am God, I will be exalted among the heathen. I will be exalted in the earth
The peace of God can help you become a conqueror and an overcomer
God be with you
