Let your light shine!!
Matthew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works
And give glory to your Father in heaven

“Let your light shine” means living in a way that your actions, character and good works reflects God’s love and truth.

That is the message in the verse above. Our ultimate desire should be to live right, share our possessions and resources with others as well as volunteer always in church to do God’s work.

In our line of duty as students, workers and ambassadors of Christ we can let our light shine by

– Volunteering to do work in school everyone is refusing to do, like weeding or scrubbing washrooms and sharing the salvation message as well

– Offering to help when people are needed to do overtime or stay longer at work. Share the salvation message with your colleagues as well

– Going the “extra mile” as an ambassador of Christ to not only sharing the salvation message but helping to meet the needs of people you talk to. They may need medication , food, clothing and shelter

Ephesians 2:10 says
…….we were created by God for good works ( paraphrased)

Let your light shine by living according to God’s commands and doing good works
