He holds the future!!!
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think towards you. Thoughts of peace and not of evil. To give you a future and a hope ( paraphrased)
” He holds the future” means God is sovereign, all knowing and in control of time and events. He has good plans for each of us as the verse above says.
Even when we deviate from His original plans, He always gives us another chance
As a students, workers and ambassadors of Christ we need to pray for grace and strength for God to keep us within the original plan for our lives
– In school when you choose your area of specialization and for some reason you cannot understand what you are taught. Pray for God to intervene and guide you into which area you should specialize in
– At the factory you cannot excel as the leader of the production team. Pray for God to guide you into an area you can excel
– As an ambassador of Christ you cannot get the people you share the salvation message with to accept the gift of salvation. Pray for God to prevent you from getting discouraged. You only have to share the message, God will do the rest
Romans 8:28 says
All things work together for the good of them that love God who are called according to His purpose ( paraphrased)
God will always guide us to live according to His plan, no matter how far we stray. We only have to trust Him
