Behold I come quickly!!
Revelations 22:12
Behold, I come quickly and my rewards d is with me to give to every man according to his works

“Behold, I come quickly” does not mean Jesus is coming certainly tomorrow or next week. He could come but it is not certain. The phrase has been the same since the bible was written thousands of years ago.

What it means is that we should always be ready for the second coming of Jesus because it could happen anytime.

The birth of Jesus was foretold by the Prophet Isaiah hundreds of years before it happened, such that the people had already forgotten about the prophecy.

The second coming of Jesus will also happen suddenly when most people have forgotten about it. The problem with the second coming is that , when you are left behind after the rapture it will be very difficult to make it to heaven. There will be so much persecution and trouble

The bible says there will be great tribulation after the rapture and few christians shall survive. Read Revelations 20 – Revelations 22.

Dear student, worker and ambassador of Christ never lose sight of the fact that Jesus is coming soon. Preparation for His coming should be item 1 on your agenda each day.

Read the word, preach the word, pray and praise God with songs of Thanksgiving and worship. This will ensure that you are ready always ready and it will help you excel. Isaiah 40:31 says those that wait on the Lord, ( Pray, praise God, study and obey the word) shall renew their strength and do exploits because they will run and not grow weary, they will run and not faint.
