Goodness and mercy!!
Psalm 23:6
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever

” Goodness and mercy” refers to God’s unrelenting benevolence, grace and loyal love toward humanity.

That is the message in the verse above. We can enjoy God’s kindness and compassion throughout our lives once we serve Him faithfully.

In our line of duty as students, workers and ambassadors of Christ we need to rely on God’s kindness and compassion ( goodness and mercy)

– In school you might be overwhelmed by your responsibilities as
a) A student

b) A prefect

c) And a Scripture Union leader

Do not worry, believe that the goodness and mercy of God will see you through

– At work, most of your team members are absent because they are ill. Trust in the goodness and mercy of God to help you handle production at the factory with only two team members

– As an ambassador of Christ you feel so tired after work but you still want to share the salvation message with your colleagues as you walk home. Trust the goodness and mercy of God to see you through

Always remember that 2 Corinthians 2:14 says
But thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph…

The Lord will lead you to victory in all three scenarios given above. God is full of kindness and compassion
