YOUTH AWAKENING 2021

MESSAGE

Youth Awakening 2021 took place on the 27th of December, 2021 at the Junction Mall, Nungua, Accra, Ghana from 4:30-8:30 pm.

Last year, I talked about the youth being;

 Our hope for tomorrow

 The leaders of tomorrow

 Ambassadors for Christ

When all the adults of this generation, leave this earth, the youth of today will be left to take charge. In order to do this, they have to study leaders in school, at work place and in church, such they can take over their jobs. This year, I will dwell on the topic “stir up the gift in you” the key verse is

2 Timothy 1 :6

Where the apostle Paul tell Timothy His spiritual son to stir up the gift in Him by laying on of his hands.

Another translation says;

_ _ _ ___ _ rouse the gift in you by the laying on of hands.

What does it mean to say “rouse the gift in you”?

It means:

 Wake or awaken

 Binging to consciousness

How can this be done?

First, the elders of your church or your pastor can lay hands on you to stimulate the gift in you.

Secondly, you have to identify the gift in you. 1 Corinthians 12 talks about spiritual gifts like teaching, prophecy, interpretation of tongues etc. when you go to church study the people who operate in the various gifts and find the one you are drawn to. Or the one you have the ability to operate in.

Thirdly, 1 Corinthians 12:13 says: “earnestly covet the spiritual gift”

To earnestly covet is to have a strong desire for something and pray for it to be manifested in your life.

Fourthly, study the word to help you develop. Why do you have to stir up the gift in you?

If you do not stir up the gift in you:

 You cannot be an effective hope for tomorrow.

 You cannot be an effective leader for tomorrow.

 You cannot be an effective ambassador for Christ,

Let stir up the gift in youth in these end times in order to be able to perform our duties and functions
