You are with us!!
Joshua 1:5

…..I will never leave you nor forsake you

“I am with you”, this is a firm assurance from the Lord that He is with us always. Whether we can sense His presence or not

The verse above is an excerpt from God’s promise to Joshua after he had been called to take over from Moses.

Moses was a great leader, and God knew Joshua felt unqualified to take up the position

From Joshua 1: 1-5 God gave Joshua a firm assurance

– As I was with Moses I will be with you

– Wherever, your feet tread , you shall possess

– You will overcome all obstacles that come your way

– Because I will never leave you

( Paraphrased)

The promise God gave Joshua is for all christians as well. Each of us has an assignment to fulfill in our generation. God’s promise to us is take the step of faith to fulfill your assignment of winning souls. ( Matthew 28:19) I am with you always

Matthew 28:20

….for lo I am with you even until the end of this world

This verse from the new testament also reaffirms the fact that God is with us always

In Joshua 1:6-7

God further instructs Joshua not to turn to the right or to the left. Follow the straight path and remain bold and courageous ( Paraphrased)

Accept the gift of salvation today (Romans 10:9-10) and enjoy the constant presence of God in your life

God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?

1. Pray for grace and strength to obey God’s commands always.
