You are my everything ( woye m’ade nyinaa)
Psalm 27:4
One thing have I asked of the Lord
And that will I seek after
That I will dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life
To behold the beauty of the Lord
And to inquire in His temple

In the verse above, the Psalmist says his utmost desire is to serve God faithfully all his life because God is his everything

The phrase ” You are my everything” means you can do nothing without God. You need to ask for His help and direction in all you do.

You can ask for God’s help and direction through prayer

Scripture says in Jeremiah 33:3
that

Call on me
And I will answer
And show you great and hidden things you do not know

Meaning, once you call on the name of the Lord or pray, God will make a way

John 15:7

…for without me you can do nothing

This verse from the new testament re- emphasizes the fact that without God’s help we cannot do anything meaningful.
