You are mine
Isaiah 43:1
But now, this is what the Lord says- He who created you, Jacob, He who formed you, Israel: ” Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine.
God created you and made you what you are today. He also saved you from the enemy’s wicked plans. The blood of His only son was used to redeem you. He has sacrificed dearly for your redemption. That is why He says “YOU ARE MINE”
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says
…”Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body”
After saving you, the Holy Spirit was put in you. Your body, therefore, is the temple of God and you must keep it Holy. God paid a high price for your life. Glorify God with your body and keep away from sin. You are God’s property.
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Pray for the grace to stay away from sin each day. The Bible directs young people to ” flee from youthful lusts”.
2. This implies that you must avoid anything that draws you into immorality.
3. Do the work of God (win souls for Christ) and obey the Lord’s commandments.
4. Do good to all men and live at peace with everyone that your life may please God.

Faithful God, I bless and praise your holy name. Let me live a life that is pleasing and acceptable to you. Amen.
