Psalm 16:2
I said to the Lord, You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing

” You are Lord” is a statement that acknowledges God’s ultimate authority and ability to make divine interventions, like the verse above says

Scripture also says in James 1:17 that

Every good and perfect gift comes from above or from God….( Paraphrased)

Meaning, God has power to perform miracles and present good things to His own

John 20:28
Thomas said to Him ,
” My Lord and my God”

This verse from the new testament is the Apostle Thomas’ way of acknowledging that Jesus is Lord. He is the only person that died and resurrected from death

Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and receive miracles from the Lord

How can I apply the word to my life?

1. Pray for grace and strength to obey God’s commands always.
