You are blessed
Deuteronomy 28:2-13
And all these blessings shall come on thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord……

Deuteronomy 28 talks about the blessings we receive when we obey the commandments of the Lord. It also lists the misfortunes we will encounter when we disobey God.

Would you rather be obedient and be blessed or disobedient and be cursed?

2 Corinthians 1:20 says
For all the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
Meaning, God will honor all His promises provided we fulfill the conditions attached.

The bible also says that
God cannot lie.
He is able to fulfill all He has promised no matter the cost. The salvation plan confirms this.

Matthew 5:11-12
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of things against you for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: for great is your reward in heaven…..

Even, Jesus who was without sin and God was persecuted and falsely accused. Therefore, do not get discouraged when you are persecuted. Continue doing the work of the Lord, and you will be blessed both in heaven and on earth as the passage above says.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Study the word to know the commandments you have to obey.
2. Pray for grace and strength to obey them.

Let not your life’s disappointments
Make your courage faint or fall
God is your shelter and hope
And He will see you through all this
Rescue you from your misfortunes
And shower His blessings on your way .
