Worship God in Spirit and in truth
Psalm 29:2
Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
The Lord our God is a great God and we have to learn to worship Him sincerely and give Him the glory His name deserves.
John 4:24 says
God is a spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.
God is omnipresent, He is everywhere and He is omniscient, He knows everything. Therefore we need to be sincere when we worship Him. He knows those who worship Him sincerely from their heart and those who pretend. Today, determine to be truthful and sincere when worshipping God. Let us stop pretending just to please those around us.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. In your personal quiet time with the Lord, try and find a place where you will not be disturbed. Knowing you are all alone will help you to be sincere. Sing, pray, and read the Bible.
2. During your personal time with the Lord, put your phone on silent and put-off or mute other gadgets like the TV and radio.
3. Try and focus your mind on what you are doing, block unnecessary thoughts, and concentrate on what you are doing.
Prayer
Almighty God, I love to praise and worship you because you are good and your mercies endure forever. Help me worship you in spirit and in truth. Amen.
