Will your anchor hold?
Job 1:10-11
Hast not thou made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? Thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. But put forth thy hand now….
Like God has His eyes on you, satan also has his eyes on you. He is planning how to snatch you into his kingdom. Will your anchor hold or will you be able to maintain your faith like Job and stand firm to the end?
Luke 22:31-32
And the Lord said, Simon, Simon,behold satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you like wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted strengthen thy brethren.
During Jesus’s time on earth satan asked for Simon Peter as well. But Jesus said He has prayed for him that his faith will not fail. Jesus is still praying and interceding for Christians that our faith will not fail. You already have the victory in Jesus. Will your anchor hold?

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. When you are faced with any challenge, pray that God will help you maintain your faith.
2. Never try to blame or curse God, stand firm to the end.
3. It is a test of your faith, to make you better and take you to the next stage of your life.
Prayer
Loving Father, I praise and adore your holy name. Help me to maintain my faith in you through all the changing scenes of life. Amen.
