Whose report will ye believe?
Isaiah 53:1
Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed

A report is a document or statement that gives account of the state of affairs in an organisation, state of health of an individual or performance of a student in school. There may be other definitions.

In the verse above the Prophet Isaiah poses a question, who will believe our ( christians’) report on the Lord’s sovereignty?

Sometimes you may see a doctor and his report on your health is devastating( Sorry sir or madam, there is nothing we can do for you). Will you believe the doctor’s report or the Lord’s report that by His stripes we are healed ( Isaiah 53:5).

Your school report says, you are hopeless in mathematics, will you believe the teacher’s report or the Lord’s report that you can do all things through Christ who strengthen’s you,( Philippians 4:13)?

Let’s believe the Lord’s report in every situation and pray that it is fulfilled in our lives.

Romans 10:16
But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report.

This verse from the new testament affirms the one from Isaiah.

Sometimes it is difficult to believe the Lord’s report especially when the report comes from a world acclaimed specialists in education, health, business management etc., and your circumstances confirm the expert’s report.

But, do not lose hope, call on the Lord through prayer and trust Him to make a way.
