Who is like thee, Oh Lord?
Isaiah 40:18
To whom then will ye liken God? Or what likeness will ye compared unto Him?

There is nothing on earth or in the universe that qualifies as a substitute for God. Nothing is good enough to be compared with God.

In the verse above, the Prophet Isaiah is asking if there is anything that can be compared with God.

Scripture says in Revelations 1:8 that
God speaking:
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end ……the one who was, who is and is to come

According to the verse above God has no beginning and no end. Can you think of any of God’s creation that has similar characteristics?

Jeremiah 32:17 says

Ah Lord God, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power……nothing is too difficult for you

Can you think of anything on the earth or in the universe that can create another world? Even Satan and his principalities and powers cannot create another world and they have a beginning and an end.

God can cease their existence any time, He chooses to. We serve the Sovereign God, who has all power, is ever present and all knowing.

Ephesians 3:20
Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ever ask or think of..

This verse from the new testament says God can do much, much more than we can ever ask or think.

He can blow your mind, He can do more than your wildest imagination. Lets learn to trust Him completely at all times

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Trust in God at all times and do what is right.

Let this song be your prayer

Who is like thee, Oh God
You created us in your likeness
Who is like thee, Oh God
It’s an honor Lord to stand and worship thee.

We lift our hands to the great I AM
Who was and who is
And is to come
We lift our hands to the great I am
Who can compare with you?
