Who do you say that I AM?
Exodus 3:14
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM sent me to you

The phrase “Who do you say that I am” is a measure of your faith in Christ. Your comprehension of how big God is determines what He can do in your life.

If you do not believe that Jesus ” Is the great physician” you will trust any other person but God with your healing.

God’s words in the verse above confirms this. He was sending Moses to Egypt to help Him deliver the Israelites from years of captivity and slavery.

Moses was scared

– He was a fugitive running away from the law because he killed an Egyptian

– Secondly, he was a stammerer how does he get the message across?

– Thirdly, a Prophet has no respect in his home. His people will not believe him

So he asked God , What do I say to the people in order for them to trust me? God said, tell them ” I AM THAT I AM ” sent me.

Meaning, tell them

– The God who has no beginning and no ending

– The Alpha and the Omega

– Who was, who is and who is to come sent me ( Revelations 1:8)

Who is God to you?

Matthew 16:16-17
…..You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered him , “Blessed are you, Simon Bar- Jonah for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father in who is in heaven

This verse from the new testament gives account of a similar situation.

Jesus asked His disciples, ” Who do you say that I am?

Peter answered, some say you are a prophet. Others say you are Elijah, Isaiah or Jeremiah.. Then Jesus said, but who do you say that I am?

Peter said, ” You are the Christ the Son of the living God” !!!

Who do you say Jesus is ?
