When the roll is called up yonder
Daniel 12:1
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that time, thy people shall be delivered, everyone that shall be found written in the book.

There is a hymn that says

When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound and time shall be no more
And the morning breaks eternal bright and fair
When the saved on earth
Shall gather to their home beyond the clouds
And the roll is called up yonder, I will be there

Like the verse in the book of Daniel and the hymn says, there is a book of life and the roll will be called just as teachers mark the register in school some day. Will you be there on that day?

I can list all the nice things you have to do, pray, study the word, obey God’s commands, win souls etc

But Psalm 51:17 says
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, Oh God thou wilt not despise. That is, what God really desires is a repentant heart.

You may do all the things , I listed earlier on but if your heart is not right, you might not make it. Grace and mercy is what will see us all through.

Hebrews 9:27
And is appointed unto men, once to die, but after this the judgement

As you go through life, remember, you will have to stand before God for judgement one day.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Seek to please God in all you do.

Prayer
Let this be your prayer

Lord prepare me
To be a sanctuary
Pure and holy, tried and true
With thanksgiving
I will be a living
Sanctuary
For you
Amen
