What’s that you have in your hands?
Exodus 4:2
And the Lord asked him, . What do you have in your hands?
What you have in your hands may be your talent or gift that God can use to promote your ministry as an ambassador of Christ.
Moses had a rod which God used to prove to the Egyptians that “I AM” had sent him.
You may have a good voice or the gift of teaching. Another person might have skillful fingers to play instruments to lead the people of God into God’s presence.
She may love cooking that helps her excel in the ministry of helps. He might have that welcoming smile that warms peoples’hearts as he ushers them into the church auditorium.
Scripture says in Jeremiah 1:5 that
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee
And before you were born, I set thee apart, I appointed thee a prophet to the nation’s…
Like the Prophet Jeremiah, God has given each of us an assignment. All He requires of you is to surrender your life to him and accept the gift of salvation, then He can use you as He desires.
Matthew 4:3
If you are the Son of God, Command these stones to turn into bread….
Like the evil one tempted Jesus in the verse above, he tries to mislead all Christians to misuse their gifts and talent.
Be alert, and do not fall for his tricks. Serve God with all you have faithfully to the end.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Surrender your gifts and talents for the Lord’s use.

When you have a work to do

He sees you at the crossing of your Red Sea

What’s that you have in your hands?
I can use it
If you’ll willing to lose it
Take the little you have
And make it grand
I am Elshaddai
And I will more than supply your needs
