What shall I render to my God? [December 15, 2022]
What shall I render to my God? [December 15, 2022]
What shall I render to my God?
Psalm 9:1
I will praise thee Oh Lord with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvelous works
The year is almost ending and I believe we have all benefited immensely from the grace (unmerited favor) and mercy (kindness) of God.
What can we give back to God? In the verse above, the Psalmist says he will praise God with all his heart and testify of his marvelous works.
You can also do the same. You can praise God through prayer and songs of praise. You can also give a thanks offering. It does not have to be a big amount give as much as you can from your heart. This offering can be given before December 31, on December 31 or first Sunday in January, 2022.
You could also share testimonies in church and with your friends.
Colossians 2:6-7
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him. Rooted and built up in Him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
This verse in the new testament re-emphasizes the need to offer thanksgiving to God as mentioned earlier on.
Continue to obey the commands of the Lord and live to please God and glorify His name.
God be with you
How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Plan your own way of offering praise and thanks to the Lord for all He has done for you in 2021.
Prayer
Let this be your song
I will bless the Lord
And give Him all the glory
I will bless His name
And give Him all the glory.
Amen
