What is the time?
Ecclesiastes 3:1
For everything under the sun, there is a time and a season ( paraphrased)

In the old Testament time is seen as prophetic, waiting for the kingdom of heaven to be restored by the coming of Jesus the Messiah.

Time in the bible is seen as apocalytic, that is waiting for the kingdom of God to restablished by the coming of Jesus.

The verse above says there is a time for everything. In order to fulfill your ministry you need to know the time we are in.

We are waiting for the second coming of Christ. It is important that we prepare for it so that we do not lose out and help others to prepare as well by witnessing to them.

Scripture says in 2 Corinthians 1:20 that

As many as are the promises of God in Him they are yes and Amen

Jesus will come back according to the bible and God will keep His promise no matter how long it takes.

Galatians 4:4
But when the time was fully come, God sent His Son into the world…

This verse from the new testament re-emphasizes that Jesus will come back just as God kept His promise in the old Testament about the birth of Jesus.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Read your bible and pray everyday. Obey the commands in the bible as you wait for His return.
