What a great story!!
Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born unto us a son is given
And the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God
The Everlasting Father
The Prince of Peace

“What a great story” refers to the fact that whatever you are going to talk about is incredible, unbelievable. Too good to be true!!

And that is what the salvation message and story is. Too good to be true. God makes a great sacrifice for us and He wants nothing in return but complete obedience.

It’s incredible, Jesus has all the credentials mentioned in the verse above,

– Wonderful Counsellor

– Mighty God

– Everlasting Father

– Prince of Peace

And He stumped so low to our level and became a mortal man just for our redemption? Yes

Because of His great love for mankind. Jeremiah 31:3 says

The Lord has appeared to me saying. Yea ( Yes), I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness I have drawn thee.

There is no love greater than that of God. Let us learn to show our appreciation always by

– Testifying.of His goodness

– Praising , thanking and worshiping Him always in songs, words and thanks offerings

– Remaining committed and faithful to Him always

Ephesians 2:8
For by grace have you been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not as a result of works, so that no man may boast.

This verse from the new testament reaffirms the fact that the salvation message is an incredible story. Given to us free of charge

Not because we are righteous, or have performed any good works. It is an unmerited favor, granted to us by grace.

Accept the gift of salvation ( Romans 10:9-10) and receive eternal life in Christ
