What a great story!!
Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born
Unto us a Son is given
And the government shall be upon His shoulder
And He shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and the Prince of Peace ( paraphrased)

When you say ” What a Great story” it means what you have heard is too good to be true. Unbelievable, unheard of.

What kind of story? The salvation message is too good to be true

– It is a free gift, an unmerited favor from God ( Ephesians 2:8)

– It is offered out of a sacrificial unconditional love which promises eternal life ( John 3:16)

– All your sins intentional and unintentional will be forgiven and you only have to confess your faith in God ( Romans 10:9-10)

Unbelievable. This great story was made true by the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, which was prophesied by the Prophet Isaiah many many years before it happened in the verse above.

The salvation part of the story has been fulfilled but we are yet to enjoy eternal life in heaven.

It will come after the second coming of Christ. Which is nearer now than before. It has taken so long , some believe it will never happen

If the first part has been fulfilled then the second part will definitely be fulfilled. It is God’s desire that none goes to hell, therefore He is giving enough time for everybody to be saved

Revelations 2:10
Be thou faithful….and I will give you the crown of life ( paraphrased)

This verse from the new testament is giving one more requirement apart from salvation that will give us eternal life. “FAITHFULNESS”

1. Trust in God and do what is right
