We shall reign with Christ
Daniel 7:27
And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given unto the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,…..
To reign is to rule over a kingdom as a monarch. In Africa and even in the European countries, Middle East and Asian countries, monarchs are special people.
They are held in high esteem and given privileges. In fact, they are treated as some sort of deities.
The verse above it says the kingdom of God shall be given to the saints of the Most High God, meaning we shall reign with Christ.
When you are persecuted or maltreated because you are a christian, remember you have a special place in heaven. You will be treated as a prince or princess and reign with Christ.
2 Timothy 2:12
If we suffer with Him, we shall also reign with Him, if we deny Him, He also will deny us.
The verse above confirms the one from the book of Daniel. Rejoice in the Lord always and endure all kinds of affliction, because great is your reward in heaven.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Pray for God to give you grace and strength to endure affliction and perceution as you fulfill your mission as a christian.

Loving Father, I bless your Holy Name. Receive all the praise and honour you deserve. Help me to serve you faithfully, so I can reign with Christ. Amen.
