We have an anchor
Isaiah 28:16
Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste
The chief cornerstone in the verse above is our Lord Jesus. This was a prophecy about who He would be. He will be our anchor and keep us safe
An anchor is a heavy object that keeps a boat or ship stable and prevents it from moving.
There is a hymn that says
Will your anchor hold
In the storms of life
Where the clouds
Unfold their winds of strive
When the strong tide lift
And the cables strain
Will your anchor drift
Or firm remain

Jesus can be your anchor like the hymn above says, keeping you safe from the storms of life if you surrender your life to Him and accept the gift of salvation.
Hebrews 6:19
Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entereth into that within the veil
This verse from the new testament also talks about Jesus being the anchor of our soul.
Life will be much easier if you surrender everything to the Lord.
