We are a royal priesthood
Exodus 19:6
And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel

Right from the time, God redeemed the Israelites from Egypt, there was the need to find someone or some people to stand as God’s representatives here on earth to lead the Israelites as they worship God.

The tribe of Levi was chosen then but now, after the work Jesus did on Calvary , we all , Christians qualify to lead worship in school, church or anywhere there is the need to lift worship unto God.

1 Peter 2:9
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people ; that ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

This verse from the new testament confirms that all Christians are a royal priesthood, a peculiar people who have the mandate to direct and show the world how to worship God and how to move from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light.( God’s kingdom)

1. Learn to worship and serve God as directed in His word.
