Walk in the LIGHT!!
Psalm 119:105
Thy word is a lamp unto feet and a light unto my path.

In the bible light is a symbol of goodness, hope and God’s revelation or direction. Whilst darkness refers to evil, sin and despair.

In the verse above light is being used as a symbol of the revelation of God. The word is light as it gives us direction on what to do.

“Walk in the light” Therefore means live according to what the word of God says. In other words let your life be guided by Christian principles.

Matthew 5:14
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.

This verse from the new testament says Christians are the light of the world. We are to show the world how to live to glorify the name of God.

Study the word of God for direction on how to live a good Christian life. You can read :
– Deuteronomy 5 for the 10 commandments
– Deuteronomy 28 on how to receive the blessing of the Lord
– Matthew 5 on the beautitudes and how to glorify God. etc.
