Victory belongs to Jesus!!
Proverbs 21:31
The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.

“Victory belongs to Jesus” means success in our endeavors and prosperity in life comes from Jesus.

The verse above highlights the fact that we as humans can prepare and put in place strategies that should bring us success.

However, real success only comes from God.For instance you can study and apply all the techniques for becoming a good athlete ( That is what every athlete does) but fame or success comes to only a few athletes whose efforts are blessed by God and crowned with success.

Scripture also in Proverbs 3:5-6 that

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path

Meaning, give God the first place in your life as your guide and protector and victory shall be yours in all you do

2 Corinthians 2:14
But thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph……

This verse from the new testament re- emphasizes the fact that those who trust God and give Him first place in their lives always triumph or succeed in whatever they do

Matthew 6:33 says
Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?

1. Trust in God and do what is right
