Unfailing God!!
Joshua 1:5
There shall not any man be able to stand before thee….I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee
When you say “unfailing God”, you are re- affirming the fact that God is faithful. He never leaves us or forsakes us.
What He says He will do in His word, He will do. He never goes back on His word. He will remain faithful and true to the end.
This truth is confirmed in His promise to Joshua in the verse above that He will always be with Him. To assist and direct Him in good as well as bad times
Numbers 23:19 says
God is not man that He should lie. Nor the son of man that He should repent. Has He said and will He not do?
Meaning, once God has promised in His word , He is bound to fulfill it:
– If He says study and obey my word and I will prosper you and give you good success . It is done ( Joshua 1:8)
– If He says once He calls you, He will equip you. Consider it done
( 1 Thessalonians 5:24)
Philippians 4:6-7
Have no anxiety about anything but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made know unto God. And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
This passage from the new testament says there is no need to fret or worry as a Christian. All you have to do is commit your problems to God through prayer
He will give comfort and peace of mind as you wait for Him to move on your behalf.
God be with you
How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Trust in God and do what is right
Song for meditation
Let this song be your confession and prayer
Jesus is faithful
He never changed
He is faithful
To His word
He has promised
He will never fail
He’s always
There for me
Mon Dieu est fidele
Il ne changera jamais
Il est fidele
Pour toujours
Il m’ a promit
Qu’il ne changera jamais
Il existe pour moi
Amen
