Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus!!
Isaiah 43:2
When thou passeth through the waters, I will be with thee: when thou walketh through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

Why is it “So sweet to trust in Jesus” or comforting/reassuring to
trust in Jesus?

Like the verse above says it is so sweet to trust in Jesus because:
– He is with us all the time no matter what we go through. When pass through tribulation ( water and fire represents tribulation or trouble in the verse above)
– He keeps watch over us 24/7 to keep anything from harming us
-He will never leave us nor forsake us

Scripture says in Proverbs 18:10 that

The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and are safe.

When you call on the name of the Lord in the time of trouble, He will come and save you

Matthew 7:7
Ask, and it shall be given unto you;
Seek, and ye shall find, knock, and it shall be open unto you.

This verse from the new testament shows us how generous the Lord is. No matter what you might require if you ask through prayer ( ask, seek and knock) you will receive it in Jesus’ Name
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Trust in the Lord with all your heart.

Let this song be your prayer

Tis so sweet
To trust in Jesus
Just to take Him
At His word
Just to lean upon His promise
Just to know
Thus saith the Lord

Jesus, Jesus
How I trust you
How I have proved you
O’er and O’er
Jesus, Jesus precious Jesus
Oh for grace to trust you more.
