Think about His goodness
Psalm 31:19
Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou has laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in there before the sons of men

The goodness of God refers to His loving kindness and grace. In the verse above, it is stated that the goodness of God is laid up or reserved for those who fear Him.

In Psalm 23:6, the Psalmist says:
Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Surely can be replaced with the words definitely or certainly. Meaning the goodness and mercy of God is certainly, by all means our portion as christians and children of God.

James 1:17
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

According to the verse above, the goodness of God is a christian heritage because all good and perfect gifts will always come from the Lord.

He is good and His mercy endures forever.
