There shall be showers of blessings!!
Proverbs 10:22
The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich and He addeth no sorrow

Showers of blessings describe the giving of the blessing from God in heaven; like rain falling on the earth with the effect of abundance, fruitfulness and luxuriant growth.

The verse above says the blessing of the Lord ( the favor of the Lord as well as gifts He bestows on us) makes us rich or causes us to prosper but He demands nothing in return that will cause us pain, discomfort or disappointment. What He desires is for us to fear Him and keep His commands- This is the whole duty of man ( Ecclesiastes 12:13)

Scripture also says in Psalm 23:6 that

Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Meaning, goodness(kindness) and mercy (compassion) which are all blessings from the Lord will follow all those who put their trust in God and serve Him faithfully.

Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your needs according to His in glory by Christ Jesus

This verse from the new testament also confirms that the goodness and mercy of God will follow us (He will supply all our need, physical, spiritual and emotional)

Let’s keep trusting God for He is good. He will send us showers of blessings.

There shall be seasons refreshing
Sent from the Saviour above.

Showers of blessings we need
Mercy drops round us are falling
But for the showers we plead
