The storm will pass
Isaiah 4:6
There shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge and a covert from storm and rain

The dictionary defines a storm as a disturbance of the atmosphere with strong winds, rains or snow. One characteristic of storms is that they never go on forever, they stop at a point in time.

Just like natural storms which do not last forever, the storms in our life (challenges and obstacles) do not last forever.

In order to survive the storms of life, you need to find a refuge in the Lord as the verse from Isaiah 4:6 says.

Find comfort and solace in the Lord. 2 Corinthians 1:4 says
Who comforted us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted by God.

John 14:16-17 also says
And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He will abide with you forever; Even the Spirit of truth whom the world cannot recognize…

The storm will pass.

Matthew 8:26
And He saith unto them, why are ye fearful, Oh ye of little faith? Then He arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

This verse from the new testament says once we have the Lord Jesus Christ in our lives as our Saviour we need not fear the storms in our lives.

He will calm the storms and give us peace.

1. Whenever you encounter a challenge or obstacle ask God to calm the storm
