The reason I live!!!
Psalm 100:2
Worship the Lord with gladness, come before Him with joyful songs

The phrase”The reason I live” presupposes that, you may have gone through several situations that should have completely destroyed you but you are still here.

Therefore, there should be a reason why you and I are still here. The verse above says the reason you live is to worship God.

Scripture also says in Psalm 22:3 that

God loves to inhabit our praise

Implying that He also loves to hear us worship Him. The one thing God cannot do Himself is to praise and worship for His own self.

That is why Revelations 4:10-11 says the four and twenty elders and all heavenly beings never cease to worship Him. They worship 24/7 as their full time job

All Christians we are also expected to worship God constantly.

John 4:24
God is Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth

This verse from the new testament brings out an additional truth, God is a Spirit and we need to offer Him true and genuine worship.

He can tell those who are sincere and those who are not. Therefore worship God in truth and from the depths of your heart.
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Be truthful and sincere in your service to God.
