The Lord is my light and my salvation
Psalm 27:1
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
When you say God is my light and my salvation, it means God is the stronghold of your life, He is the reason for your existence.
He is your light because He directs or shows you how to live your life. He does this through His word.
He is your salvation because He delivers you from all the evil one’s snares or traps. He also restored the relationship between you and God. He did this by dying on the cross
John 1:4-5
In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
The verse above says in Him, Jesus is life. If you you want to have life and have it more abundantly then you have to surrender your life to Jesus.

1. Study the word frequently to know God’s will for your life.
2. Be certain you are born again and dedicate your life to serving God.
