The King of who I am!!
Isaiah 43:1

…..I have called you by name. You are mine!!!

In the verse above, God says, He redeemed us, He knows each of us by name. He ends by saying, ” You are mine”

Meaning, He created us, He knows our beginning and our ending. We live because Christ lives.

Scripture also says in Isaiah 9:6

Unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace

If Jesus is King according to the verse above ( Prince of peace) and He redeemed us, then, He is the King of who we are. We are who we are because of the grace and mercy of God.

Romans 8:16
…..if children, then heirs

This verse from the new testament gives another dimension of why, Jesus, is the King of who we are.

We are children of God and therefore joint heirs with Christ. He is the King of who we are
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. If Jesus is the King of who we are then we must learn to obey all His commands.
