The joy of the Lord!!
Nehemiah 8:10
Do not fear for the joy of the Lord is your strength
“The joy of the Lord” is the gladness that comes from knowing God, abiding in Christ and being filled with the Holy Ghost.
According to the verse above, this kind of joy gives us strength or strengthens us as Christians.
Scripture also says in Psalm 16:11that
In the presence of God there is fullness of joy.
Meaning, if we want to find the joy of the Lord then we have to learn to spend time in the presence of God, praising, thanking and worshipping Him.
Revelations 21:4
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be anymore pain: for the former things have passed away.
This verse from the new testament assures us that when God finally comes to dwell with man after the old earth passes away, there will be eternal joy as all the things that take our joy in the world today like pain, death etc. Will also pass away.
