The Holy Spirit is our counsellor
Proverbs 19:21
There are many devices (plans) in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord shall stand.
If you need advice or direction on important issues in life like your career, life partner, how to manage your home etc. You need a counsellor. There are christian counsellors , marriage counsellors, life coaches etc.
The bible says in the verse above that we
need the counsel of the Lord to make it in life.
We can make several plans on how to live our lives but it is the counsel of the Lord which receive from the Holy Spirit that
That shows us exactly what to do
John 14:26
But the Comforter (counsellor), which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to remembrance, whatever I have said unto you.
Jesus told His disciples that the Holy Spirit will teach them all things and help them remember all that He taught them.
The Holy Spirit teaches and directs (counsels) all Christians as well. Once you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior He comes to live in your heart and directs and guides you in all you do.

1. Learn to pray for direction before you do anything, big or small.
