The countdown is getting lower!!!
Joel 2:28
Afterwards, I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh, your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams and your young men will see visions.

“The countdown is getting lower” means the time preceding the event is reducing with each passing day. This term is being used to describe the time left for our Lord’s second coming.

According to the verse above, when the time for our Lord to return is getting near, the Lord will pour His Spirit upon all flesh and there will be signs and wonders.

Your sons and daughters will prophesy. This is happening now. For example there are TV shows today like “The Pulpit” and ” The Quote Challenge” ( TV shows in Ghana) , where children within the ages of 10 and 18, preach great messages, quote and explain scriptures, giving deep revelations.

Your young men will see visions which is also happening, there are several young men and women in ministry today.

Brethren, the countdown is indeed getting lower everyday and we all need to prepare for the second coming of our Lord.

The bible says in Revelation 16:15 that

Behold I come like a thief….blessed is he who…

Meaning, His coming will take us by surprise. Because no one knows the day nor the hour of His coming except God Himself.

Revelations 22:12
Behold, I come quickly and my reward is with me…

This verse from the new testament assures us that the Lord will come with rewards for those who have served God faithfully.

Let’s us strive to be faithful to the Lord, praying for grace and strength each day, so that we can receive our reward. ( Revelations 2:10)
