The battle belongs to the Lord!!
2 Chronicles 20:17-22
…..You will not have to fight this battle,
standstill and see the salvation of the Lord.

As individuals, the church and nations, we have dreams and aspirations. In our bid to achieve these dreams and aspirations we will encounter challenges and obstacles as well as successes.

The process of overcoming and embracing these failures and successes can be likened to a war or battle.

In the verse above we are being encouraged not to fret or worry, just “standstill” . That is, be calm, pray and ask God to see us through.

This battle belongs to the Lord because He alone knows your past your present and your future and knows exactly what to do to give you victory.

Jeremiah 29:11 says
For I know the thoughts that I think towards you saith the Lord. Thoughts of peace and not of evil. To give an expected end.

Meaning, God has our welfare at heart and we can be sure, He will cause us to excel.

2 Corinthians 2:14
But thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph….

This verse from the new testament says God always causes us to triumph or excel. It does not matter what happens in your life. He will still cause you to triumph.
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Trust God to cause you to triumph in all you do.
