Thank you Lord
Psalm 118:1
Oh give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good and His mercies endureth forever

The Psalmist says in Psalm 116:12 that
What shall I render unto the Lord for all His benefits towards me?

Both the verse in Psalm 118 and Psalm 116 indicate that God has done so much for us that we cannot stop thanking Him, Christians and non- Christians.

The fact that you are alive and healthy is a great blessing. In addition to this you eat three square meals a day, you have clothes to wear and a place to lay your head at night are also exceptional blessings.

Let us learn to give thanks to God daily through:
– Songs of praise , worship and thanks giving
-Words of thanksgiving in a prayer
-Thanks offering at church, other christian organizations
– Good deeds that will glorify God like giving to the poor and needy etc

1 Thessalonians 5:18
In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you

Even if you do not have all the blessings I mentioned above, like this verse from the new testament says give thanks because at least you are alive.
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Memorize as many of the Psalms on Thanksgiving as you can
2. Learn more christian songs of thanksgiving to enrich your offer of thanks to God

Prayer
Meditate on the words of this song

Give thanks with a grateful heart
Give thanks to the Holy one
Give thanks because He has given
Jesus Christ His Son
And now let the weak say I am strong
Let the poor say I am rich
Because of Jesus Christ His Son
Give thanks.
