Blow the trumpet in Zion

A testimony refers to a specific event in a Christian’s life when God did something spectacular. It can also be an account of how one became a Christian.

The verse above does not specifically talk about testifying about your salvation or what God has done in your life.

However, it describes what God expects us to do when He blesses us. Shout it out for the whole world to hear about what He has done and draw men to God.

Scripture says in Matthew 5: 14-15 that

You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden ( paraphrased)

Meaning we should let the world see what God has done in our lives.

Matthew 5:16
Let your life so shine among men
That they may see your good works
And give glory to your Father in heaven

This verse from the new testament also says we should let our light shine through our good works for the whole world to see and give glory to God.

Do not hide testimonies of what God has done in your life. Let everyone know about it so that they would be encouraged to surrender their lives to God
