Store-up treasure in heaven
Jeremiah 17:9-10
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

We live in a materialistic world, everyone’s heart is focused on acquiring riches and property, land, houses, cars etc. But our hearts should be focused on God and the things of God.

According to the verse above we will be judged according to our ways and the fruit of our ways.

Let’s dedicate our lives to serving God for the bible says: seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew 6:19-20
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth where moth and rust doth corrupt, and thieves breakthrough and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth or rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

We build or store-up treasure in heaven when we win souls for God. The more souls we win, the more treasure we lay up in heaven.
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Be serious about winning souls for the Lord.
2. Make a conscious effort to win at least one soul a week.

Father in heaven, may your name be praised at all times. Thank you for seeing me through another week. Help me to win more souls for you. Amen.
