Speak to me Lord
Jeremiah 33:3
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not.

The verse above clearly states that God speaks to us or answers when we pray.

God can speak to us through dreams, visions, verses of scripture, words of a song or drop ideas into our minds or spirit.

However, we should remember that just as Pharaoh’s sorcerers and magicians were able to create snakes like the one God created through Moses’s rod, the evil one can also plant ideas into our spirit.

The bible says we should test every spirit (1 John 4:1 ). We should test every idea, dream etc with what the bible says. Will it glorify God? Will save more souls? Will it make you a faithful witness of God?

John 10:27-28
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

This verse from the book of John says that everyone who serves God faithfully should be able to know when God is speaking to him/her.

You should be sensitive to the voice and direction of God, in order to be successful in winning souls.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. After praying do not be quick to leave the presence of God. Spend a few minutes in silence just waiting for God to instruct, direct you, give a verse of scripture, a song etc.

Prayer
Dear Lord, thank you that your grace, mercy and love endures forever. Help me to be sensitive to your voice and leading. Amen.
