Speak Lord, for your servant is listening

” Speak Lord! ” Is a plea to God to communicate with us. Like the verse above says

You may be taking an important decision and you need direction in order to make an appropriate choice

God speaks to us through

– His word the bible

– The Prophets

– Christian songs

– Dreams or visions

Scripture also says in Psalm 119: 11 that

Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee

Confirming the fact that God often speaks to us through His word

Why do you call me Lord, Lord, when you do not what I say

This verse from the new testament shows how important it is to the Lord that we do what He says

Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and receive direction from God 24/7
